Dream Builder (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. - Information you provide: account details, content you create within the app, and any information you submit through forms or settings.
- Information from Google: When you sign in with Google, we request access to the following: your name, email address, and profile picture (basic profile scope), and your Google Calendar events (read and write) if you choose to connect your calendar so the coach can see what's on your plate and create focus blocks. We only request the minimum data necessary for the app's functionality.
- Automatically collected information: device type, browser, IP address, and usage data such as pages visited and features used.
3. How We Use Your Information, Including Google User Data
We use the information we collect, including data obtained through Google sign-in, to:
- Authenticate your identity and create or maintain your account.
- Provide and personalize the core features of Dream Builder, such as displaying your name and profile picture in the app, reading your upcoming Google Calendar events so the coach can give context-aware guidance, and writing focus blocks to your calendar when you ask us to.
- Communicate with you about your account or updates to the service.
- Improve and troubleshoot the app.
We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide our core app functionality, comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with your prior consent.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information, including data obtained from Google. We may share data with:
- Service providers who help us operate the app (e.g., hosting, analytics), under confidentiality obligations consistent with this policy.
- Law enforcement or regulators when required by law.
5. Data Protection and Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and restricted access controls limiting which personnel can access user data. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We retain your personal information, including Google user data, for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@mindsteady.org, and we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.
